Pre-Construction

The creative part of our construction process begins with a design contract. Once a design contract is in place, you will work closely with our team of expert architects, engineers, and general contractors to design the house of your dreams that meets your requirements as well as our standards.

We can recommend multiple reputable lenders that we have worked in conjunction with that are extremely knowledgeable and can secure a loan for your energy saving Northstar Home. We highly recommend speaking with at least 2 different lenders before making a final decision.

We coordinate & schedule all required and recommended inspections, due diligence and procedures to ensure the on-site construction process will begin at the outlined time frame to encourage completion during the preferred period of time.

Final modifications and adjustments are made to the floorplans & design. Once the architectural plans are approved by the client, we initiate the process of acquiring the building permits. We ensure compliance with all community, city, county & state ordinances.

Site for new construction is cleared, barricaded and prepared for excavation, heavy equipment, soil compacting, etc.
Construction

Floorplan/model begins in our 3D digital environment.
First is the modeling stage where the expert engineer converts a 2D model into a digital 3D model.
Next is drafting where the engineer fine tunes the 3D model with the appropriate specifications for shop drawings.
Finally, CNC programming translates data from our digital environment to the CNC machine in our warehouse.

The CNC machine (Computerized Numerical Control) precisely measures, cuts and pre-drills materials needed for assembly.

After materials are organized, labeled & assembled, they are staged for freight.
The building system is received on-site by our experienced construction team.

Our expert team works on your custom exterior finishes; cladding on walls and windows, doors & roof details.

Our team puts in final finishes to the interior such as cabinets, fixtures & appliances.
Post-construction

Our expert team then coordinates with local municipal inspectors to ensure all standards are met for occupancy.
